Long, quiet lives. They move a lot, but always within the safe core region.

Long wanderers who eventually settle. They touch the frontier but end their life back near the center.

Long careers in orbit. They spend their lives circling in the middle distance, neither very near nor truly far.

Rare explorers that push deeper into the unknown than anyone else. If a path ever reaches this extreme frontier, it’s remembered as a Pathfinder.

Travelers who spend time in the mid band but eventually return to the center.

Paths that never return from the deep frontier. Their final step is beyond the mapped edge, so they simply vanish into the unknown.
